What is the Author’s Guild’s Stance on AI-Use? (My Take)

•  Originality of thought, authorial voice and creative expression are the ingredients that make one a writer.

• It is essential that we maintain readers’ trust, the trust of fellow writers, and publishing outlets. Knowingly using generative AI to write a poem/story and passing it off as human-authored text shatters that trust.
