From today, Penned in Rage Journal is seeking up to three (3) NEW passionate and discerning editors to join our team next January.
We are only open 3 (three) times a year for a short period of six weeks. So, it is doable if you are a higher education student, etcetera.
Your principal responsibility will be to screen and select outstanding poems, short stories, essays, nonfiction pieces, artwork and chapbook reviews from the slush pile for forthcoming editions of the journal.
Candidate Requirements· *Excludes Most African Countries Due to Internet Connectivity Issues & Lack of Access to Wix Portals for Users Based in Nigeria (Issue with Wix Security Features — Not Ne).
Academic Qualifications: A master’s degree or higher in English Language, Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, Social Sciences, Humanities etcetera or a closely related field.
Publication Record: Demonstrable experience of being traditionally published – research papers, poems., stories, books etcetera.
Editorial Acumen: A keen eye for compelling narratives, originality, and literary quality across genres. You will have access to the Ella's Poems team email to be able to carry out your role. You will work with a team of other Editors, headed by Dr J. Lubbungu.
Renumeration: This is a token-paid position. I run an unfunded journal.
